Feel the Rhythm

MDA is a premiere dance school in the US that has been engaging students for 34 years in rigorous training of very high standard and spectacular performances in the classical dance form- Bharatanatyam. MDA exists as a premier classical dance academy under the leadership of Founder and Artistic Director, Guru Rama Suresh. MDA offers a disciplined approach and gives equal importance to practice sessions and expressional dance form and dance theory alike to its aspiring and motivated students.

Classes are open to adults and kids ages 5 and above regardless of prior training in this artform. Classes are taught from Beginner level to Intermediate and Advanced level. Private classes are available and online classes are also an option to those who are unable to take in-person classes in state and out of state. Mythili Dance Academy in-person classes are conducted at Prosper/Celina location and Frisco/Plano locations in TX & in Peoria, IL

Additionally, MDA students have many opportunities to perform in different venues, cities and countries and in collaborative Broadway style shows directed by Guru Rama Suresh for charitable organizations, which is why MDA students are called as "Dancers with Heart." By exploring the art form through collaborations with other bharatanatyam dancers, visual artists, musicians, and local and international dance makers, the academy is able to share the power of dance, music and storytelling throughout the diaspora and beyond.
